Design for the Typography Logo

This is the first design that I really liked. I was going for something that had an organic, art nouveau style to it. I decided that I was not letting myself explore other design options so I drew a lot of new, completely different designs, just to see if I might come up with something I like better.

This is the logo that I picked from the newer designs. And I do like this design better. It is cleaner and more sophisticated than the first design. I am still keeping some of the art nouveau influence with the curves and tapering lines. I drew two versions of this design.

This is the version I like the best. I am sure that I will tweak it in illustrator; I might shave off the sharp point at the top of the "C" to see if a curve fits better.
