Book Cover art for Lion, Witch, and the WardrobeThis

This is one of my favorite book covers. I like the hand drawn aesthetic and the feeling conveyed in the lion's eyes.

This is my other favorite cover. It is clean and simple but still whimsical.

Event Poster sketch

The final concept for my poster is to have eyes looking through a barcode and at the bottom of the barcode, where the upc would normally be placed, it will say "I am not for sale." This is my initial sketch. The eyes will be painted in watercolor and the barcode and text will be designed on top of the scanned watercolor painting.

Poster Event

Ending Modern Day Slavery Event.

Human Trafficking is a huge problem in Atlanta. I did not know how big the problem was until I attended this event during the summer.  I am still shocked at how underexposed Atlanta human trafficking is. According to NightLight International, about 495 under aged girls are trafficked every month in Georgia. Additionally, about 7,200 men are purchasing sexually exploited girls every month. Even though I attended "Ending Modern Day Slavery" five months ago, I still feel passionate about doing something to help these victims in my own city. This is my inspiration for my event poster.

Pinkberry Seasonal Ads- Finished!

Here are the final images for the ad project. I created seasonal ads for Summer (pictured above), Spring, and Fall. I tired to use color and texture to make the ads look appetizing. The composition is intended to create a swirling rhythm that mimics the swirl in the yogurt. I had a lot of fun with this project and I am happy I chose Pinkberry.

Pinkberry

I chose this company because I like the design of its logo (of course, I like frozen yogurt too!). The logo looks cute, fun, and youthful. From doing research about the company I found the target consumer market is health conscious individuals aged 16-34. The brand should be perceived as sophisticated, fun, a healthy dessert option, creative, fresh, and hip. The stores offer a distinctive, simple menu that emphasizes high quality ingredients. The taste of the yogurt is tangy and sweet, but leaves no creamy or dairy aftertaste. One of the company's tag lines is "Pinkberry is swirly goodness".
